Building the Boardwalk in Bunyip State Park

Chris Shattock, David Peake, Doug Crompton, Jeff Mayes, Jeff McDonell, Neil Burden

The Bayside Bushwalking Club takes its sponsorship of the Freeman’s Mill Track in the Bunyip State Forest very seriously. Over two years and many working bees, its volunteers designed, planned and built an extensive boardwalk with their own hands. More than 600 hours of teamwork and elbow grease, plus a financial contribution from the club have made this track available for all walkers to enjoy throughout the year.
